The newest issue of the Journal of International Economic Law, for which I am Co-Editor in Chief, was just released this week. Among the articles is my completed working paper the Renminbi and Systemic Risk. As I head to a SIFMA Workshop on Tuesday to moderate a panel discussion on the China Bond Connect Program, I’ve heard of a number of new developments—from the stabilization of the currency to rising complaints relating to insufficient hedging instruments (including the absence of a repo market). I think it will be a really interesting conversation.
